When our founder gave birth to her daughter, Nara, she struggled to breastfeed. Like many new parents, Esther had planned for everything but this.

Suddenly, she had to choose a formula.

The search was lonely and overwhelming in the early days of parenthood, and she couldn’t find a formula she felt truly good about.

Why skim milk? Why soy?

And how is it possible that our society doesn’t prepare parents for the reality that 75% of babies are drinking formula by six months old?

So Esther dug in.

For over seven years, she worked with scientists, pediatricians, and nutritionists to develop a truly clean, organic formula made with whole milk. Exactly what she wanted for her daughter.

Dr. Jessica Acker, MD

Dr. Jessica Acker is a board certified pediatrician. She earned her medical degree from the American Medical School at Tel Aviv University and completed her residency in pediatrics at SUNY Downstate. Her clinical interests include newborn care and mental health. The most rewarding part of her job is empowering parents to make educated decisions regarding their children.

Cara Dumaplin

Cara Dumaplin is a registered nurse, sleep expert, and founder of Taking Cara Babies, a company dedicated to helping babies and toddlers sleep so families can thrive. Cara draws on 25 years of experience in the NICU, delivering babies and caring for postpartum moms, plus her own journey as a mom of four. With this expertise Cara developed a research-backed, emotionally-connected sleep support program. Cara is a trusted voice in the pediatric space worldwide.

Dr. Latisha Moreta, MD

Dr. Latisha Moreta is a board certified OBGYN. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Mount Sinai West/Morningside. Dr. Moreta specializes in infertility and advocates for equal access to reproductive health care.

Nicole Silber, RD, CSP, CLC

Nicole Silber is a specialist in pediatric nutrition, a certified lactation counselor, and the creator of Tiny Tasters. She has worked with thousands of children, offering nutritional support to those with chronic medical and other gastrointestinal conditions. Before moving to private practice she worked at the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New-York Presbyterian and the Fink Ambulatory Care Center at NYU Langone. She is a mom of three young girls.

Dr. Jessica Hippolyte, MD, MPH

Dr. Hippolyte is a board-certified pediatrician. She earned her MD from the Ohio State University College of Medicine and her MPH from George Washington University School of Public Health. The daughter of Haitian immigrants, Dr. Hippolyte is committed to improving access to pediatric care, including infant nutrition, in under-resourced communities.

Dr. Rachel Bervell, MD, MPH

Dr. Rachel Bervell is a board certified OBGYN and is currently completing a residency in psychiatry. She earned her MD from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and her MPH from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Bervell focuses her clinical and advocacy work on reproductive and mental health. She’s dedicated to health equity and wellness for all communities, bringing those interests together on Instagram at The Black ObGyn Project and as a core organizer with IHJM leading the Reproductive Justice Working Group.

Dr. Payal Adhikari, MD

Dr. Payal Adhikari is a board certified pediatrician. She earned her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed her residency at Rush University Medical Center, both in Chicago. She is passionate about healthcare innovation, including infant nutrition. Dr. Payal practices medicine in Chicago, and loves to create connections between healthcare companies, clinicians, and consumers.

Elizabeth Baron, LMHC

Elizabeth Baron is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and psychotherapist who specializes in maternal mental health. She received her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Columbia University’s Teachers College and has extensive clinical experience in supporting women in all stages of their motherhood journeys – from preconception and pregnancy, through postpartum and parenting.

For babies who need us most.

In our first year, Nara Organics is donating over 1,400 cans of infant formula to Good+ Foundation, a leading national nonprofit that works to dismantle multi-generational poverty by pairing tangible goods with innovative services for under-resourced fathers, mothers, and caregivers, creating an upward trajectory for the whole family.

Rather than a one-time donation, this contribution represents a dependable source of clean, organic formula — supporting up to 40 families with consistent nutrition throughout their babies’ first year.

This joint initiative will be ongoing and expansive, with the number of supported families through Good+Foundation increasing alongside our growth at Nara.
